Words of Life

I can't remember where I learnt this, but i just decided to share it with you all
  • Whatever you give may leave your hands but it will never leave your life.
  • Don't assume that delay is denial
  • A glass is either half full or half empty. It depends on how you see it. See the positive side of things.
  • Do not become a wandering generality. Be a meaningful specific.
  • What lies behind you and what lies before you are tiny matters compared to what lies within you.
  • What is right is not always popular and what is popular is not always right.
  • Sometimes good things fall apart so that better things can fall together.
  • Some people create their own storms and get mad when it rains.
  • Be a voice not an echo! Take control of your life. If you were meant to be controlled by others, God would have created you with a remote control.
  • Pick your spiritual sunshades and guard your life.

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. Self Control

Happy Sunday guys!!. Today, I will be writing about what I learnt in church today. I learnt about the fruit of the spirit called Self control. In other bible versions, it can also be called temperance or control over desires. Now, Let's turn into the scriptures Gal 5: 22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,peace,forbearance,kindness,goodness,faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (NIV) In our daily lives, we have needs and wants. sometimes we step into a grocery store and even buy things that we really don't need. Sometimes we see them and we are like "I don't need this" or " I didn't plan for it".
