Do you prefer playing to praying?
Do you prefer taking to giving?
Do you get angry unnecessarily?
Do you feel you are always right?
Do you about instructions?
Do you speak what is right and just?
Do you envy sinners?
Do you listen and obey your parents?
Do you dwell in the seat of the scornful?
Do you follow the advice of the wicked?
Do you fear God?
Do you love God?
Are your ways in tune with God?
Do a personality check.
He who thinks he stands
Take heed,  lest he fall

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. Self Control

Happy Sunday guys!!. Today, I will be writing about what I learnt in church today. I learnt about the fruit of the spirit called Self control. In other bible versions, it can also be called temperance or control over desires. Now, Let's turn into the scriptures Gal 5: 22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,peace,forbearance,kindness,goodness,faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (NIV) In our daily lives, we have needs and wants. sometimes we step into a grocery store and even buy things that we really don't need. Sometimes we see them and we are like "I don't need this" or " I didn't plan for it".
