Every rose has its thorns



Stabbing and throbbing 
Twisted deep in my flesh
The pain was excruciating 
But
I couldn’t have sunshine
Without a little rain
A thorn in my flesh
But my love is strong enough to make it blunt

Everyone wants things to go smooth. No body loves to have troubles on the way. But in a real life situation, this isn’t always the case. 
This is why we have to prepare our minds for the worse.
It might not always go according to our plans. 
Everyone has their own troubles and challenges and finding out what works for you best will also help you go through your challenges easier and more efficiently.
Some trials are meant to mold you and strengthen you. Don’t give up when it gets rough. That phase might be a transition phase needed for your uplift. 
Stay strong and live healthy and don’t give up
Love that thing so much that you wouldn’t give it up
Every rose has its thorns
Every success story has its faults
Every mountain has its valleys

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. Self Control

Happy Sunday guys!!. Today, I will be writing about what I learnt in church today. I learnt about the fruit of the spirit called Self control. In other bible versions, it can also be called temperance or control over desires. Now, Let's turn into the scriptures Gal 5: 22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,peace,forbearance,kindness,goodness,faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (NIV) In our daily lives, we have needs and wants. sometimes we step into a grocery store and even buy things that we really don't need. Sometimes we see them and we are like "I don't need this" or " I didn't plan for it".
