The Receiver...



Most times, what blocks our blessings in life
Is our inability to receive Jesus

Let me site this scenario
You were looking for a place to sleep
Something happened
You went to a house
You were mistreated
Thank God the weight of their words did not fall you down
You went to another house
Those people welcomed you like their own
They did not only give you shelter
They also gave you food
You were well received

Then some years later
The people whose houses you went for help
Both needed something
And as life would have it
At the same time
Only you can give them what they need
Mind you, there is just one spot
Who would you give?

Some people miss their blessings
Because they think Jesus will come to them
And say "I am Jesus, please give me food and water"
Jesus won't come to you that way
Wake Up!
He will come in form of a man
So whenever you can help
Let us try to help
Whatsoever is worth doing at all, is worth doing well.


John 1:12 " But as many has received him, to them he gave the power to become sons of God even to them that believe on his name"

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
