Small Beginnings...



A seed starts small
But it doesn't remain small
It grows into a plant
This growth doesn't happen overnight
It goes out of its way to grow
Going through photosynthesis
Outgrowing competition from weeds
Boosting its growth with fertilizers
Fighting hazardous  weather conditions
And at the end it grows into a plant
With so much fruit
People don't know the story
They only see the glory
For it knows,  if it remains small
Death would become its middle name

A baby starts small
But doesn't remain small
He or she grows up into an adult
This same growth doesn't happen overnight
It takes a lot of hard work and sacrifices
A lot of training
Eating balanced diet
Going for checkup
Production of teeth
Learning how to walk
Going to school
Learning discipline
Writing exams
Until he becomes an adult
And people only see the glory behind the story
For remaining small is also death

There is no harm in starting small
But where harm comes in is remaining small
Invest in that business
Read more
Go for trainings
Improve yourself
Ask questions

Lesson for the week
Start small
But don't remain small
Job 8:7 though your beginning is small, your end shall be great!
Zechariah 4:10 Do not despise these little beginnings...

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
