The danger of being convenient....






Being convenient has done more harm than good to a lot of people.
When you are convenient,  you have everything at your disposal. You ain't looking for anything.  Everything is working for your good.
Then you forget to pray because you don't need anything and no one is troubling you.

The level of your faith reduces because you don't have anything to hope for and the evidence of things you have can be clearly seen.

You don't go to church because you are busy with so many activities.  Going to church becomes an hindrance to reaching your goals.

But let's recap.
Before you got convenient,  you get to church before the service starts, you even stay after church to pray for your life.  But now that you are convenient, you are always staring at your watch thinking "when would church finish?  I have a busy schedule. "

Remember God who gave you that convenient life that you're living can also take it from you. Return to the father.
Don't be too convenient and forget about the person who made you convenient.
Let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he falls....

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
