Renewal of hope...




When we feel like giving up, when things
are not going as smooth as we want them
to be, when you are not motivated to
perform a task, Instead of giving up,  wait
upon the Lord.

When you wait upon the lord, there are a lot of benefits attached to it

1. Renewal of strength
Your strength would be renewed.  Like a fresh fire. You would be agile and strong.
His favor gives us spiritual strength. Hebrews 13:9. God turns our weakness
to our strength.  Hebrews 11:4. The lord is
our strength.  When we pray,  he answers us and encourages us with his strength. Psalm 118:14, Psalm 138:3.

2. Mount up with wings like eagles
This means we will soar.  There would be an uprising.  There is also an increase.
We would not be on the same level as we were before. There will be a promotion. God increase the power of the godly.
Psalms 75:10

3. They shall run and not be weary
Divine endurance and patience would
come in. Giving up would be a thing of
the past.  Since God doesn't get weary,
when you wait on him, you will not be weary.

4. They shall walk and not faint.
Divine sustenance comes in. God's word would be your motivation.  It would bring great joy and delight to your heart. Jeremiah 15:16.
Waiting on the lord has a whole lot of benefits.
Isaiah 40:31

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
