Knowing your stand in this present world....




People are always inventing new ways of sinning
But it is left to you not to participate in them

Romans 1:30.
They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents.

 Mind you,  the devil would not appear to you in the form of things in the 18th century because he knows those things are no longer in Vogue and so you won't be attracted by it.

The devil also upgrades his schemes. He would come to you with the things if this present time.  He would make it look like it is not a sin,  but if you are rooted in the word if God,  you would be able to differentiate between right and wrong.

These people who invent new ways of sinning are fully aware of God's punishment for doing these things but they still do them regardless. And also encourage others to do them.

Romans 1:32.
They know God's justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.(NLT)

This is why you should know your stand.  Know what you believe.  Because if you don't stand for anything,  you would fall for anything. 

Isaiah 7:9b
If you don’t take your stand in faith, you won’t have a leg to stand on.” (MSG)

Just because a lot of people are doing it,  doesn't make it right.  Just because the society accepts it,  doesn't make it right.  Just because it is the law,  doesn't make it right.

Know your stand and be able to recognize different sins,  because sins also get upgraded to our tastes....

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
