Life Lessons from the Woman with the issue of blood

The courage to break free
Mark 5:25-35

Courage doesn't mean you don't get afraid,  but you have the courage to overcome it.
It is easier to bind you when you are not moving.
Fear has stopped so many people than failure has ever done.
The woman with the issue of blood faced the fear of death,  of social rejection and the courage to take a high risk
She knew she wasn't supposed to be in the crowd,  but she was at a point at which she was willing to take the highest risk of her life.
You won't get to where you are going without the courage to take the high risk at one point if your life.
A high risk is something that can bring you in,  or do you over, something that can make you or break you,  something that can make you crash or rise like a shooting star,  it is something that can tear your life apart or take you to somewhere you have never been before.

It is easy to talk yourself out of freedom. It is easy for you to adjust to your pain and your frustration and say everyone has to live with something.  Do you really have to?  Or are you choosing to?  Because you don't have the courage to take the high risk.  Don't allow other people to convince you that the risk is not worth it!
Life shrinks or expands in proportion with one's courage.  All our major battles are won Within ourselves or lost within ourselves.

Making a big life change is scary,  but what is even scarier is regret. Did you learn from your past when your formal opportunity passed ?

The woman showed the courage to face her fears,  the courage to face the high risk,  and the courage to own her own actions. When she touched Jesus, he felt something.
Every one that is touching you,  isn't Necessarily TOUCHING YOU.
When she touched him Jesus said who touched me.  He said I know somebody touched me,  BECAUSE I FELT SOMETHING
Everyone was reaching for Jesus,  but not touching him.
Courage is not the absence of fear.  It is the ability to act in the presence of fear.
Never apologize for your quest for freedom.  Hope is wishing something will happen,  faith is believing something will happen,  courage is making that thing happen.
The courage became the legs in which faith worked through the door.  You don't need more hope or faith,  you need more courage to act on What you say you believe or hope for.
