In God's shoes...... Fear Part 4





It's the fourth day of shoe testing. How has it been so far!

Imagine you work for the strongest security system, yet your kid is scared of an ant. You keep on reassuring your kid not to be scared that you've got their back,  but they keep on been scared. You won't feel happy about it. You would try to tell them not to worry but it just doesn't work out.


This same scenario applies to us in our daily lives when we live in fear. We are scared of every little thing like reaching out for that opportunity,  starting that business, developing that relationship,  taking that risk. It often times skips our minds that we have a God who has assured us not to fear because he is with us Isaiah 41:10. We forget that we have a God that told us to be of good courage or the reminder in Jeremiah 1:8 "be not afraid of their faces...."


Taking a walk! Let's face our fears.

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
