Series.... "In God's shoes" Part 1

It's been a while right! I know. So back to business......
It's a new week and Monday morning to top it all. Everyone going to work trying to beat the traffic, but we thank God for the success of the previous week

Now. let's think for a minute, If we looked at God in the eyes of Men, that is "If God Was Man"

A story:
There is this friend of yours. You guys do almost everything together, talk together, eat together and so on. In fact it's like anything that's yours also belongs to that friend. That kind of relationship. Then one day, you had an outing and there is this purse you would like to rock for that outing, but you couldn't find it. You looked all around for that purse and then asked your friend. Your friend then said she didn't see it. You were like "okay, maybe i dropped it somewhere, will find it when i get back" and then you took another purse. But mind you, the previous purse matched your outfit perfectly.
Your friend also went for the party but both did not know you were going for the same party.

When you got to the party, you mixed up with people, ate and then you saw your friend. Then you were like "wow, i didn't even know you were coming to the party". Y'all exchanged pleasantries and then you commented on her outfit "you look amazing, your cloth, shoes, your purse......." THE PURSE........

And behold the purse you were looking for was with your friend. You told her that i asked you about the purse but you lied to me. You could have just told me that you wanted to use it and I would have thought about it Blah blah blah

You forgave her and forgot about it. Not too long, she did the same thing again and again and again.
Now the big QUESTION comes........
If you were in her shoes, what would you have done?

Now, this is the same scenario that happens when we lie to God each time and beg for forgiveness daily. But God been God, always merciful forgives us at all times, only when you confess

1 John 1:9 (ESV)  : If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

But we shouldn't take God's mercy for granted! And stop lying.

God bless you!!
