The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel, isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority, people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them, yet they don't want to come under it's authority, would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting, Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John, there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council. Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John, they we're arrested. That might not be the case in the world of today. You might get humiliated and disgraced, but know that no matter their schemes, Gods authority surpasses them all.
