The Genesis




Today,  I read the book of Genesis 1. And I got a better understanding of the creation

From what I understand,  creation is the process of doing something from scratch,  that is creating something out of nothing while making is the process of producing something from already existing.

Now back to our subject of discussion.  In Gen 1, God created only 3 things.
You getting confused?  Don't worry I'll clear it up.
1. He created the heavens and the earth
Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2. He created the whales and birds
Genesis 1:21
And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
3. He created man
Genesis 1:27
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
This means that God really took time out to make these things.
Note that the remaining part of creation were made.
God made only one thing in his own image: Man!
We are so important that God himself has to not only take out time to create us,  he then made us in his own image!  So in case someone starts to feel less important! Know your worth!

Now you are like in verse 26, God said
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

The phrase 'let us make' is telling us God's intention of making man from the dust he had previously created.
God making man is the process of making him from the dust or sand;  which is something he had already created.  But in verse 27, the process of creating man occurs when God breath into man and made him a living being.

The summary of it all is
If you start to feel less important,  know that you are very important for God to take time out and create you in his own image.

If God had no TIME.....

The Chronicles of Acts 4....

The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
