The courageous...



She was trembling
She was shaking
She was fidgeting
She was nervous
How would I do this
She wondered

Her pupils dilated
Her heart rate was increased
Her blood pressure was on the increase
Her blood vessels constricted

I could feel the presence of fear
All round her
With her shaky voice
She confirmed it
She was afraid

I laughed
And then told her
Have you forgotten
Be strong and be of good courage
Do not be afraid,  neither be dismayed
For God is with thee
Wherever thou go
Joshua 1:9

This is a reminder that fear shouldn't be allowed into our lives
When we are told to fear not,  we most times think it is only the devil that was been referred to. We don't apply it to our daily lives.
You may have something,  but if the application isn't known,  then it is better you never had it.

Be courageous,  take that step,  Make that speech!

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
