The Ultimate Fall....



When we are raised up
When we are lifted up
When we are taken up
It's all for one reason
To declare the name of the lord

When we are promoted
When we are powerful
When we are exalted

When we make it
When we are successful
When we are wealthy
It's all for one reason
To declare the name of the lord
Round the earth

Why then shall ye take glory
Why then shall ye take all the praise
Why then shall ye take all the exaltation
All to thyself

Remember,  God is a jealous God
He doesn't share his glory with any man
To such man who taketh the glory
Learn from the rich fool Luke 12:13-21
Your ultimate fall
Is at hand!

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
