Give




She gave something
He gave nothing
She donated to the poor
He always complained about the burdens he bore
She prayed for something
He prayed for something
She got what she requested for
He didn't get what he requested for
Thank you Jesus, she said
Why Lord?  He said

She had an interview
He had an interview
She prepared for the interview
He prepared for a party
She went for the interview
He went for the interview
She got the Job
He didn't get the job
Thank you Jesus,  she said
Why lord?  He said

Whatever you give that is what you will receive.
You can't sow nothing and reap something
Nothing goes for nothing
Invest your time, money and knowledge in the things of God
What ever you sow is what you will reap
Give into the poor
In whatever measure you give,  same will be added into you.
You can't plant two seeds of maize and expect 10 maize plants.
You can't give little and expect much
We all know our pocket
When you give lower than your worth,  you are just showing that you ain't worth that much
You can't plant corn and harvest yam
You want God to give you something but you can't give him your time.
A givers hand is always on top

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
