Temptation ...

It is okay to be tempted
But falling into temptation is not okay
God doesn't tempt
James 1:12-14
12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of lifethat the Lord has promised to those who love him.
13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their ownevil desire and enticed
You can't be tempted with what you don't like or need
It is something you lust after that you can be tempted with
James1:14
but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their ownevil desire and enticed
The problem with temptation is that when you have fallen into it,  it causes you to sin and when it is finished,  it caused death.
James 1:15 the wages of sin is death.
Temptation doesn't bring anything good
There is always a way out of every temptation
The road might not be easy
But you cannot be tempted above what you can bear.  1Corithians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
Jesus was tempted, yet without sin Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.
Temptation can be likened to an exam
You either pass or fail at the end
No in between differences or lukewarmness
Things happen to us for a reason or for a lesson
When we overcome temptation,  it makes us
When we fall into temptation,  it breaks us
Beware!
