Helpers...

When we read the story of how David recovered all,  we most times skip out this part of the story.
I Samuel 30:11-15

God told David that he was going to recover all.  But he didn't tell him how...
On the way,  David's troops found an Egyptian man in the field and brought him to David.
He was given food to eat and water to drink. They gave him more food when they found out that he had not eaten for 3 days and 3 nights.
This same man that David helped was a slave of an Amalekite.
Remember the Amalekites were the ones who took the women and children captive at Ziklag. This man they helped led them to the amalekites.

If David's men had passed the man by,  thinking "who is this?,  or I don't even know him, there is no time to waste, let's recover all, I just lost my wife and children"
They might not have been able to reach the amalekites as soon as possible.

Sometimes we miss our blessings or take longer time than is needed to get our blessings.
This is because we ignore the little things on our way while focusing on the big things without realizing that big things started off as little.
Let's not forget that the people we help today no matter who they are might be the source of our blessings tomorrow....
Learn from David....
