Study to show your self approved!  2 Tim 2:15.
Most people want people's approval when they know nothing.
If you want to grow in God's word,  study the word of God. Take extra time out to meditate on it.

You want to excel in your music ministry, study about it.  Learn more singing techniques,  read more,  research more,  spend money.  Good things don't come cheap.

You want to be promoted,  study as well. Know something others don't.

If you are not informed,  you will be deformed.  A man is what he knows.  People respect knowledge. The difference in a man's life from 20 years ago till now is as a result of the books he read,  the friends he kept and the places he went.

When you know what you are doing, people would respect you for that.
A wise man is mighter than a strong man. A man of knowledge is more powerful than a strong man.  Proverbs 24:5

Through knowledge are rooms filled with all sorts of precious riches and valuables. Proverbs 24:4

You are what you know!

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
