Foundation....




When you want to build a house,  what matters is the foundation,  that is what the house is built on.

If you build a house on a weak foundation, no matter how big the house may be,  it is bound to collapse.  When a house is built on a strong foundation,  it lasts the test of time, no matter what the weather condition maybe,  it is strong enough to endure it.

This same applies to our lives.  Who is the foundation of our life. On who do we put our trust.

The foundation of our life should be Jesus. If it is not Jesus,  then we can be likened to a house built on a weak or poor foundation, our lives are bound for a wreck. No matter how big your careers may be,  if you are not established on Jesus,  you are bound for doom.

Having Jesus as your foundation is like having a life insurance.  He has your back throughout your life.  No matter the stress, trouble and depression you are going through,  he is strong enough to help you pass through it and walk out of it.

With Jesus as your foundation,  your standing is secured!

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
