Freedom...





Freedom is a state of being free,  not imprisoned or enslaved.
Some of us are in bondage in one way or the other financially,  physically, emotionally and spiritually.

But I have good news for you!  There is freedom in Christ Jesus. Wherever the spirit of the lord is, there is freedom.
2 Corinthians 3:17. God does not put anyone in bondage.  You are bonded by your own actions.

If you want freedom;
1. Know Jesus
And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. John 8:32. Jesus is the way,  the truth and the life. Once you give your life to Jesus,  abstain from sin and get to know him more, he will set you free. John 14:6. Talk to Jesus about your problems.  He is the greatest counsellor you will ever need.

2. Fear God.
If you fear the name of God,  the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free,  leaping with joy. Malachi 4:2

Satan has nothing to offer.  He has been stealing things from people.  He always takes but never gives. He keeps people in bondage. Luke 13:16.

Come to Jesus today and enjoy freedom. If the son sets you free, you are free indeed. John 8:36. When you are with Christ, that is when you give your all to Jesus and let go of your sinful nature, you would be free from the power of sin.  Romans 6:17

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
