Looking into Jesus...




It's the beginning of a new week.  All the work left undone from Friday has met the new problems of Monday. Monday is also believed to be the most hectic day of the week. The situation of things around you is not encouraging.  All they do is cause depression.

You try to ask some people for help but instead of helping you,  they just make your problems greater,  which leads to depression.

But when you look unto Jesus,  having your eyes fixed on him,  and dedicating your life to him,  trusting him to take the lead,  he will give you rest. Hebrews 12:22.

Hand over all your worries unto Jesus and let him give you the peace that passeth human understanding. Psalm 55:22, Philippians 4:7.

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
