Ephesians 1
[6]So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son.

As believers, we sometimes try to become what all other Christians are. We need to understand that our goal in life should be achieve God’s purpose for our personal lives. Sometimes we think that the Christians around us have mastered a level of holiness that seem to evade us; we would cry out to God to create in us a robotlike piety that would satisfy what we thought was required of us. We admire the standards and purity of those we think are “faith heroes”, and we earnestly pray, MAKE ME BETTER, LORD!

Please don’t change that prayer but change the motivation behind it. You need to realize that God knows you and loved you as you are. God’s love is not based on a merit system and it is not based upon performance. From moment to moment, you are accepted in the beloved.

Everything that is born has to grow and develop to maturity. Don’t expect an immediate, powerful, all-inclusive metamorphosis that would transform you into a new creature of perfection. Yes, you have the ability to transform into a perfect creature and God is waiting for that “you” to come forth.

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
