Talents.....





This is a gift bestowed in everyone by God. But most people don't realize the power of their talents because they don't work on it. Some haven't taken out time to know what talents they have.

God has given each of us talents in different proportions but when you utilize your talents to the fullest,  you get great results no matter the size of your talent.

It is our duty to work on them and use those talents effectively.

Something that can keep us in check is the parable of the talents.  Matthew 25:14-30.
Whenever we work on our talents,  it brings improvements.  You can't work so hard on something and there won't be a change. Just like the two servants that invested in their talents,  there was an increase.  Matthew 25:26-17.

Who doesn't love increase?  Imagine you are in the business field,  won't you like to do business with someone who brings increase?  If you don't use your talents,  with time they start to diminish,  because what you don't spend time with and invest in would gradually lose it's value.

Don't be like the last servant who taught his talent was too small and then hid it.
Show forth your talents because that is the only way you can improve.  Matthew 25:24.

Work on your talents.  Don't hide them. Use them to the fullest.  Maximize every opportunity!
It's your talent! Use them....

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
