What I learnt in church......




Most times we don't know the story behind the glory of successful people.  We only see the glory.

When you are helping people,  do it from your heart not expecting a thank you because those people you help,  would be the same people that would talk bad about you. When they are talking bad about you, since you are not even there to listen to their thank you,  it wouldn't matter since all you want is a job well done from God. As far, has God tells you well done,  that's all you need.

People are jealous of what you have but they can't handle what you have even if you give it to them.  People get jealous yet but they don't know what you have being through to get to that level.

Endurance means God doesn't take you out of it,  but as crazy as it might seem,  you are still in your right mind. God gives you a well in your desert.  When you have your own well,  you don't have to go around acting thirsty.

God would shut some doors behind you to enable you to see some opportunities before you.
There are some people on your elevator of life that are not allowing you move up. And you have to let them go,  so you can move up.

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
