Believe that you are light
Bright and beautiful
Even when people
Might miss the brightness
Because of your unadorned clay pot
Where your light is stored
Know that
This is to prevent anyone
From confusing God's incomparable power with you.
You are not really looking like light
You have been battered with troubles
You have been thrown down
But not broken
Through it you lived
Know that every detail
Of what you are going through
Is working  to your advantage
And God's glory
More more grace
More more people
More more praise
A day doesn't go by
Without God's unfolding grace

There's far more here
Than what meets the eye
The things you see now
Are here today,  Gone tomorrow
But the things you can't see now
Will last forever!
You are not alone....

If God had no TIME.....

I saw this poem,  and it struck me to share I knelt to pray but not for long I had to much to do as the year ends I had to hurry and get to work For bills that would soon be due So I knelt down and said a hurried prayer And jumped up off my knees My Christian duty was now done My soul could now rest at ease All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends They'd laugh at me I'd fear 2016 ending!  No time,  no time,  too much to do That was my constant cry But at last the time,  the time to die I went before the Lord I came;  I stood with downcast eyes For in his hands God held a book It was the book of life God looked into his Book and said "Your name I cannot find. The chronicles of Acts 4 The fact that people are persecuted because of the Gospel,  isn't something new. When you are talking about a higher power or a higher authority,  people who can't do anything about it, because that thing is higher than them,  yet they don't want to come under it's authority,  would look for ways to stop you. No matter how the people want to stop Gods word from manifesting,  Gods word always gets delivered to whoever it is sent. Acts 4:4. Through the arrest of Peter and John,  there was an opportunity for the message of God to be spread directly to the members of the council.  Acts 4:12-13. In the case of Peter and John,  they we're arrested.  That might not be the case in the world of today.  You might get humiliated and disgraced,  but know that no matter their schemes,  Gods authority surpasses them all.
